Famous for its tiny hamburger sliders, White Castle is a popular fast-food chain with locations all over the United States. There are currently close to 400 White Castle locations, with most of them being in the American Midwest. While there are plenty of great options to choose from on the regular menu, there are also some innovative creations available on the White Castle secret menu.

White Castle’s secret menu features different takes on their classic menu items. Since most of their dishes are inexpensive, you can also mix-and-match individual items on the chain’s menu to create the perfect meal.

Official secret menu vs. customer creations?

Most of White Castle’s secret menu items don’t appear on the actual menu. Some of the items were conceived by customers, while others came from different sources—like the popular 2004 comedy film, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle.

Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle made the establishment even more popular than it already was, with many customers ordering the exact meal that Harold and Kumar themselves ordered in the film.

The most popular White Castle secret menu items

The Harold and Kumar Special is one of the most popular items on the White Castle secret menu and features 30 hamburger sliders, five orders of French fries and four large Cherry Cokes. If this is too much food for you, there are plenty of other secret menu items that can’t be missed:

  • Loaded fries: French fries featuring a variety of toppings, including cheese, bacon and ranch.
  • Surf and turf slider: A slider featuring fried fish, a hamburger patty and a slice of cheese.
  • Grilled cheese slider: A grilled slider featuring any type of White Castle cheese that you choose.
  • Chicken parm slider: A crispy chicken breast slider with mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce added on top.
  • Valentine’s Day special: 10 hamburger sliders, two drinks and an order of fries.
  • Neapolitan shake: A milkshake featuring vanilla, strawberry and chocolate ice cream.

Other popular White Castle secret menu items include the Cheese Waffle Slider, Cowboy Slider and Loaded Mozzarella Sticks. Many people also love the fact that you can add bacon crumbles to almost any menu option. This robust secret menu has had many people coming back to the fast-food establishment for years.

How to order from the White Castle secret menu

Since items from the White Castle secret menu don’t appear on the actual menu, you’ll likely have to start with a basic item, then customize it. Some employees might know what you’re talking about if you mention the item’s name; however, this won’t always be the case.

All items on the secret menu are easy to order even if the employee doesn’t recognize the item’s name. To order the chicken parm slider, for example, just order a chicken slider with mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce on the side, then assemble it yourself.

No matter what you’re craving, White Castle is sure to have the perfect thing to satisfy your taste buds either on its regular menu or its secret menu.
