While it’s common to believe you have to sacrifice either health or taste to maintain a sufficient diet, you can often have both with superfoods. Packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and essential nutrients, superfoods are a key way of improving your diet and boost your energy while fortifying your immune system.

Moringa

Moringa is the leaf of the drum-stick tree, known as Moringa oleifera – the “miracle tree” for its nutritious leaves and anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and tissue-protective properties. These leaves are rich in vitamins A, C and E, calcium, potassium and protein.

Chia Seeds

Known scientifically as Salvia hispanica L., chia seeds are full of omega-3 fatty acids, fibre and protein. They are often used to help boost energy levels, promote weight loss and improve heart health. They’re also versatile and can be used in several different culinary creations.

Kale

Brassica oleracea var. Sabellica, also known as kale, consists largely of vitamins A, K and C, alongside substances like sulforaphane and indole-3-carbinol. Studies show that kale actually helps reduce the risk of cancer.

Omega 3 acid, Coenzyme Q10 and wheatgrass powder

If taken every day for 2-3 months, these substances can greatly improve your immune system and gut health.

All these ingredients can be used in any meal to create a deliciously satisfying yet still healthy meal.
